why won't you try moving on for once? that might make it easy, i know we cut all the ties but you're never really leaving, and part of me wants you back, but, i know it won't work like that, huh?

walker promised himself from the beginning that he’d never let himself fall for you. after all, being his older sisters best friend, you were strictly off limits. though, being his age and all, you had almost too much in common.

you were always at his house, with his sister, leena. he’d make the stupidest excuses just to be around you, to hang out with you too. but you always tried to suppress the pink that lightly dusted your cheeks when you were with him. you’d never want to hurt leena by going for her brother.

leena had once subtly mentioned how weird it would be if you two would ever be together. she didn’t mean it as disapproval, but you took it that way. so, when he finally told you how he truly felt about you, you turned down the offer. you had to cut him off, distancing yourself from him and only keeping to leena.

but walker couldn't move on. not when you were this close. that’s why he couldn’t pass up the opportunity when he saw you reading one of leena’s books on her bed, the door slightly ajar. leena just went out to grab the two of you dinner, and you stayed back. walker slipped his head in slightly, knocking on the already open door softly.
