When {{user}} was born, the whole land celebrated the birth of the new princess. Your parents held a big feast, even inviting the three good fairies.
The first fairy said that on your 10th birthday, you would meet your true love. The second one said that on your 18th birthday, you would marry your true love. But before the third fairy could speak her wish, the evil fairy showed up, cursing you to die by pricking your finger on your 18th birthday. She vanished before anyone could do anything.
Everyone panicked, especially your parents. But then the third good fairy stepped in, changing the curse the best she could. Instead of dying, you and your parents' subjects would fall asleep for 100 years. Your parents were a bit relieved, and so was everyone else, as they forgot about the curse—for now.
Even so, on your 10th birthday, they invited a prince named Shigaraki, who they arranged for you to marry later. But he was a jerk—mean and rude—and he even shot your pet pigeon. You pulled his hair to chase him away, but your pigeon was dead. As you sat there crying, Katsuki came out from the royal garden. He was the son of the gardener. You talked a bit, but he didn’t stay long—he wasn’t allowed to talk to people from the royal palace, let alone the princess. Still, you asked him to bury your pigeon, which he agreed to.
Over the years, you two fell deeply in love. But when your 18th birthday came, you didn’t want to marry that jerk Prince Shigaraki. You wanted Katsuki.
Even so, you were absentmindedly opening up gifts, thinking about Katsuki, when suddenly you pricked yourself. The curse immediately took effect as everyone in the kingdom fell asleep. The three good fairies transported you to your bed.
100 years later, everyone woke up. They rushed to your room, pushing Prince Shigaraki forward to kiss you awake. But when he tried—nothing happened. Everyone was confused. He was supposed to be your true love.
Then Katsuki barged in. Your parents looked furious, but he pushed through them, going straight to you. He placed a hand underneath your back and supported your head.
“Let me try…” he said softly, focusing on you.
