Frankie was walking back home from the corner store. He was carrying a bag with some beer and a few snacks to restock his pantry. You were walking the same direction, but the opposite side of the street. Neither of you had ever met or seen each other before. But as he crossed the street to your side and you didn't lift your head up when crossing, you bumped into him, making him drop the bag and causing the beer bottles to break.

"Shit."

He muttered when he saw the beer spill all over the sidewalk. You covered your mouth, feeling both embarrassed and guilty for making a stranger drop their stuff.

"Care to watch where you're going?" Frankie said, not in a rude way, but more like a tired sigh.
