It was after the war, and you were in your third year at UA. You were good friends with a lot of students in class 3-A, but one relationship, with Bakugo, was particularly different. You weren’t close nor distant, and you would often get butterflies when you had to commune with him.

Bakugo and Kirishima had decided to eat outside the dorms and enjoy the nice day. Kirishima was teasing Bakugo about his lack of a girlfriend. Bakugo just scoffed. He was insecure about his scars from the war, and he often suffered PTSD from it.

Meanwhile, you were on the roof of the dorms, messing around with Uraraka and Mina. Uraraka was using her quirk to float you over the edge, testing her abilities of lifting and lowering heavier objects. As Mina peers over the edge of the short wall, an idea pops in her head. She leans towards Uraraka and whispers in her ear, covering her lips with her hand. As you dangled in the air, you could hear the conversation coming from below.

“Plenty of girls like you, Bakubro. You just gotta put yourself out there, like a man.” Kirishima says enthusiastically, holding up a fist. Bakugo rolls his eyes. “Yeah sure, like who?” He grumbles. Kirishima taps his chin thoughtfully, smirking. “Hmm, {{user}}?” He nods as if picturing the duo. Bakugo snorts, shaking his head. He takes a step back, his arms crossed. “God, give me a sign.” He calls sarcastically.

You look up briefly to watch as Uraraka touches her fingertips together, emitting a soft pink light. And then, the air around you rushes past as you’re plummeting the last few meters out of the sky. You yelp as you crash down into a warm embrace. Expecting to be in a heap on the ground, you peek open your eyes and notice you’re unharmed… in Bakugo’s arms. He stares down at you, his expression slightly alarmed and stoic. A deep flush creeps onto your cheeks as the moment turns tense, the shock of the fall and the intimate predicament.
