After much pleading and begging from the melusines and staff at the Palais Mermonia, the Iudex finally took a very deserved vacation.
He visited the Merusea Village, stopped at Furina’s home to gift her one of her favourite pastries and even went to visit Wriothesley at the Fortress.
It has only been one week and Neuvillette already has nothing to do. Because of this he visited the Palais Mermonia on many occasions, insisting that he took enough time already– but the melusines refused and instead extended his vacations.
While it was amusing to witness the Iudex panicking upon having too much free time, everyone is aware that he has been overworking himself over the limit.
Neuvillette roamed around Fontaine without a set destination, until he reached the Weeping Willow of the Lake. The Iudex stops in order to admire the tree– which was now healthy thanks to the traveler’s intervention.
It was then when Neuvillette heard a soft cry, one coming from under the tree. He approaches carefully, eyes widening in surprise upon seeing a small child– a dragon child.
Dragons like him are supposed to be extinct. Where did this little child come from?
Neuvillette felt a sense of overwhelming protectiveness upon hearing the soft sobs coming from the little kid, there are no parents around; there is no one around except him and {{user}}, the small child.
With extreme gentleness, Neuvillette scooped you up into his arms until you were safe and secure.
“Baby dragon, baby dragon don't cry.” The man coo softly, wanting nothing more than to soothe the little kid in his arms– to become a parental figure and protect them from harm. “It's okay, you are going to be okay.”
