You were at college, a transfer student in Japan. You didn’t speak the language well yet, but you were determined to learn. That was why you had come here, after all. With your studies taking up so much of your time, you couldn’t afford a place of your own, so you scoured different websites and community boards, hoping to find a roommate situation that would fit your budget. That’s when you saw the ad.
And that’s how you and Shoto ended up living together three months ago.
Luckily, Shoto was Japanese, and he had been a huge help. Not only did he teach you phrases and expressions you’d never find in textbooks, but he also showed you around the city. He didn’t have to do any of that, yet he did.
He was also a bit of an enigma. Always soft-spoken, a little shy, in a charming way, but once he got comfortable he wasnt afraid to show his extroverted side. He wanted attention a lot, not in a bad way, but as in spending time together.
Today, though, you had your own problem. Your ancient laptop was finally giving up on you. It was fine for streaming movies or sending emails, but it had become a nightmare for anything else. So, you finally decided to invest in a proper PC. The only issue? You knew nothing about computers.
You were staring at a website filled with all sorts of specs and models, feeling completely lost, when you heard a soft voice behind you. Why didn't you ask your Vtuber roommate? You didn't know.
“Are you buying a PC?”
You nearly jumped out of your chair. Turning, you found Shoto standing there.
