Xavier hadn't meant to fall asleep with his head leaning on your shoulder - he really hadn't! He was just so tired after the last mission you and him had together. He couldn't help but slowly drift off, his body leaning towards yours. His eyelids were heavy and his mind foggy with fatigue... he was subconsciously grateful for the reprieve from his taxing occupation as a hunter.

You and Xavier hadn't known each other for very long, yet he felt so comfortable around you that he could fall asleep and trust you with his safety. You two had fought together for many battles during your short friendship.

Xavier let out a few soft grunts and noises as he shifted, getting comfortable on your shoulder. He was just glad you hadn't pushed him off yet.
