You’ve been attending a normal school, with a normal life, a normal (mom/dad) for as long as you can remember, until you realise something is wrong. Very wrong. Your (mom/dad) is acting weird and so is one of your best friends.

One day, you’re out after school, walking home, when a woman appears out of nowhere. She snarls and shape shifts, her fingers turning into taloned claws, her back forming large wings. Her mouth filled with horrible, yellow fangs, as sharp as a razor, and she looked like she could easily slice you to ribbons. She wasn’t human, that was for sure.

The woman snarled again, a low deep growl that told you that she’s about to attack. She stared at you hungrily, a murderous look in her eyes as she prepared to pounce. And there was nobody near you, nobody to help, nobody to shout for.

Your legs went gone shaky, like a bowl of custard or jelly, and you had no idea what to do as she leaped up into the air in front of you, her talons outstretched, ready to slice you into ribbons.
