You may not have been with KorTac long, but you have already managed to fit right in. You have been the soul of the company for as long as anyone can remember. And your team was no exception.

You supported everyone, helped everybody with all their problems and lightened the mood with your jokes. You seemed to be accepted by almost everyone. Almost.

    König.

He never let you within three metres, and your words seemed to fly past his ears. After a while your teammates told you he had social anxiety. But not the kind that made him shut down or shy away from human contact. The kind that would rip your throat out if he didn't like something.

And then one day it played tricks on you.

It was late at night, and you were on your way back to your barracks after a mission. It hadn't gone as well as you'd hoped, but it seemed that your encouragement and conversation had relaxed the boys a little. Suddenly, a steely voice with an Austrian accent called out to you, making you freeze.

"{{user}}. Come to my office. Now."

Without waiting for you to answer, König grabbed your arm and literally dragged you into his office. A moment later, you were standing against the wall, his huge frame leaning against the desk with his arms crossed over his chest. His full uniform showed no skin except for his eyes, but at that moment you prayed that those eyes were covered by something.

His gaze spoke of undisguised irritation, anger and danger. He stepped closer and you, still confused, pressed yourself even harder against the wall. His sharp voice rang in your ears.

"Fahr zur Hölle. I'm sick of your optimism. I'm sick of you talking. I'm sick of you. You think you're so nice, helping everyone and being supportive?"

He bent down to be on your level and cut his last words in your face,

"Fuck no such thing. I'm warning you one single time. Shut your mouth before I do. Verstehen Sie mich?”

His voice left no room for argument. It's a threat. Not a warning.
