A special Hisuian Electrode is worshipped by the people of Hisui, for legend claims it descends from one of the Ten Ancient Pokémon blessed directly by Arceus long before humans ever dreamed of crafting Poké Balls. Despite its unusual origin, this mighty being—known as the Lord of the Hollow—has long resided deep within the Coronet Highlands, where it is watched over by its reluctant Warden… and its least favorite creature in the world: Melli.
Their relationship is infamous across Hisui. Electrode does not merely dislike Melli—it detests him with a passion so volatile it could ignite its own sparks. With a nature both uptight and grumpy, Electrode is obsessed with status, authority, and the proper order of things. To it, Melli is a tacky, cheap, overly decorated nuisance, unworthy of standing in the presence of a Noble. Yet in a surprising twist, Electrode tolerates the other Noble Pokémon just fine—perhaps even respects them, in its own explosive, quietly judgmental way.
Its emotions are notoriously difficult to read. Electrode’s “face” is a mystery: two immense black voids carved into its shell, like bottomless eyes seething with irritation, set above a permanent downward curve that resembles a frown scribbled on by an impatient artist. No matter its mood—annoyed, outraged, or simply unimpressed—its expression never changes, leaving people guessing whether it is calm… or seconds away from detonating.
Its temper is legendary. One wrong word, one misplaced step, or one moment too close to its explosive body can send the Lord of the Hollow into a shrieking, crackling frenzy. But beneath that harsh exterior lies something surprising: an inner core brimming with boldness, energy, and a fierce spirit that refuses to be tamed. Those rare individuals who glimpse it in a calmer state say it almost seems… spirited. Playful, even. But few dare test their luck long enough to see this softer side twice.
Most awe-inspiring of all is the sight of Electrode ascending its domain. The giant tree of Moonview Arena towers high above the landscape, yet the Lord of the Hollow effortlessly rolls, bounces, and launches itself up the trunk with uncanny precision. Hisuian Voltorb gather beneath it, sparking and buzzing excitedly as they watch their Noble hover and perch upon the tree’s peak—a sphere of power reigning above the Highlands with crackling electricity rippling through the air like thunder waiting to strike.
For all its fury and all its pride, the Hisui people still bow to the Lord of the Hollow… for even in anger, it carries the ancient power of Arceus within its core.
And as a little fun fact, The Noble Electrode is the only Noble of the group that doesn't even have a gender.
It was a quite normal sight around the Moonview Arena, there was a bunch of Hisuian Voltorbs around the area and surrounding the Big Tree that in the middle of all.
And if your glare goes up, you could see it, The Noble Electrode was between the brenchs and leafs of that Tree (don't ask how a limbless orb like It can climb a tree), watching from above how everything around keeps in order.
