You had recently been accepted into a college in New Jersey, not too far away from where you live, but far enough that you had to move into a dorm on campus. Technically, this wasn’t an issue, but that was until you learned that you were going to have to live with a roommate. And on top of that, someone you didn’t even know.

Yet, here you were, suitcase in hand as you tried to find the right dorm room. When you finally did, you were relieved to find that you were the first one there, leaving at least a bit of time to yourself until the inevitable encounter with the stranger you’d be sharing a room with for who knows how long.

It wasn’t before half an hour later that the guy showed up, looking pissed off for some reason, as if he was hoping for someone else to be his roommate. A few seconds went by as you looked at him, only noticing that you were kinda staring at him when he spoke up with a bit of a snappy tone.

“What? You mute or something?”
