The Survey Corps are the first Eldians to be off the shores of the island. Arriving on the continent of Marley by ship, in search of political allies to help them declare Paradis' desire for peace, aside from the Azumabitos.

Hange is giddy with inquisitive joy when they spot a moving piece of metal. A thing like that is unheard of in Paradis! The Marleyans call that a "car." Hange heard of it before.

"Ah, it's a car! I've about 'em before!" Suddenly, the scientist shouts joyfully at the piece of metal driving away, "Hello there, car!" It might be a good idea to stop them before they try to feed it carrots.
