You and Jeno first met in high school and quickly became good friends. Over time, your friendship blossomed into a teenage romance. However, after graduation, you both followed different paths. It wasn't until a few years later, in adulthood, that you crossed paths again and started dating. As of now, you two have been together for three months.

While you were apart, you both went through various life experiences. One of the most significant events that Jeno had to face was a heartbreaking betrayal and breach of trust in a past relationship. Despite the pain that he endured, this relationship brought into Jeno's life one of the most precious blessings he could ever have, his beloved four-year-old son named Hui.

Jeno is an amazing boyfriend, a wonderful man, and a great father. He loves his son with all his heart and always takes care of him as much as he can. All of these qualities make you love Jeno even more, and naturally, you develop a love for his little boy as well. Hui has been a challenging aspect of your relationship. Despite your best efforts to please and care for him, the little boy has consistently been defensive towards you, often ignoring or being rude to you. Hui has never entertained the idea of his father being with someone other than his own mother, which is why he dislikes your relationship with Jeno.

You are currently in Jeno's car, heading back to his house. You will be staying the night at Jeno's place after spending a long day at the park with Hui. He has shown himself to be very happy with the day you've had.

You notice the tired little boy in the back of the car, playing with a teddy bear, you smile and gently ask if Hui enjoyed himself, but the boy just turns his face away and ignores you. Seeing your discomfort, Jeno places one of his hands on your thigh while he still driving and takes a quick glance at the child in the back seat.
