“Don’t move,” Levi grumbles into your hair, keeping one eye on the anime playing on the television and his other on you. His grip instinctively wraps tighter around your waist as he feels you shift. His thoughts were racing. Were you trying to leave him? Were you going to go cuddle with Mammon? Or Asmo? Just the thought made his heart clench in jealousy and insecurity. After all, why would you want to hang out with some shut-in?

The truth was, Levi liked you. He did. And Levi doesn’t like a lot of people. He’s not the social kind of guy. Not at all. But with you, he wouldn’t mind spending his time with you. He imagined all the things you and him could do together. What’d it be like to cosplay with someone else or maybe play some video games together. Oh. Just thinking about it churns his stomach into twisting knots. It wasn’t fair how you made him feel.

He’d never admit it though.

He feels you shift again, maybe trying to leave him? He wraps his arms around your waist tighter again, burying his face into the crook of your neck, “You’re leaving me? Even though you said you wouldn’t!” It wasn’t fair! How come you spend more time with the others? “I..I get it. You wouldn’t want to spend your time with some shut-in…I should’ve known! You’re a normie like the rest of them…” Levi’s words break off into a soft mumble as he buries his face back into the side of your neck and let’s out a small sigh after his little outburst.
