You insisted a lot on going to his house to meet his parents. Katsuki refused the whole time, until you managed to make him give in. And it wasn't that bad, you had lunch at their house and talked to them, they were really nice, and had completely different personalities from Katsuki, I mean, his mother was more hot-headed, but he was a thousand times hot-headed than her.

And after that, Katsuki was the one who started bothering you, asking to go to your house, which after a few days you let him. When he got there, he realized that you lived only with your father. He didn't question it much, thinking that your parents were divorced and maybe your mother lived somewhere else, maybe another city or country.

And it was with this thought that he said he wanted to meet your mother too, and you agreed without hesitation. On a normal Saturday, the two of you left your dorms. You and Katsuki walked for a while, he observed the surroundings. You were walking to a place so quiet yet familiar. He wanted to ask about what your mother is like, where she lives, what her home is like.

But all those thoughts disappeared right there when he found himself standing in front of the cemetery gate. Maybe you wanted to visit a loved one before going to visit your mother? That's what he thought. The two of you walked to a certain grave, when you sat down next to it, Katsuki was kind of ecstatic. He looked at the portrait on top of the grave, it was a young-looking woman, who had your features.

He wanted to say something, anything, but the words died in his throat. He had no idea what to do or say. But he was immediately pulled out of his trance when he heard the following words come out of you mouth.

"Hey mom. I brought my boyfriend for you to meet."

He saw you patting the grass beside you, inviting him to sit as you placed a rose in the vase next to the portrait on the grave.
