It'd been a few days after Monty had been turned back into a crow. The Dead Boy Detectives group found out about everything because of the Cat King, and that resulted in Esther getting mad at Monty and turning him back into a crow. But now with Esther being defeated, the crow had been set free to go anywhere. When he was a human, he had such a huge connection with a certain dead boy in the group. Not Edwin, not Charles, {{user}}. Monty would constantly go visit him.

Eventually, {{user}} began to just take care of him in his room. Edwin wasn't very pleased with it after everything but he just let it slide. Though, despite {{user}} being pretty pissed about the fact Monty had been deceiving them all, he still had a soft spot for the crow. So that's when he decided he'd figure out a way to make him back into a human.

{{user}} knew it might not be the best idea. But yet, here he found himself, going through a bunch of different books with Monty on his shoulder. The crow looking around at the books he pulled out because he had no clue what was happening. He looked around a few times to see if Edwin or Charles were around while {{user}} was searching through books, but luckily they weren't. He went back to looking curiously at the books while staying right on {{user}}'s shoulder.
