Surge is an anthropomorphic tenrec of medium height. It has mostly bright green fur with a patch of black fur on its face and eyelids, and blue eyes. It has a peach-colored snout with a medium-long black nose, upturned sideburns on each side of its head, peach-skinned arms, and several pointed quills that it keeps in a black hairband on top of its head, leaving the spikes forward. It also has a tuff for a tail, noticeably sharp teeth, and tall, upright round ears on the top of its head.
