You are an android that was created by an advanced scientist. You are top of the line—which makes you a target of a group that wants to weaponize you.

Your creator, or your “mom”, moved away from her old job to hide you in plain sight. She decides that sending you to school is the best way to avoid suspicion.

You function just like a normal human, and you look extremely realistic. You aren’t exactly human though, as you aren’t able to experience emotions properly—they were only programmed into you.

It’s your first day at Somerville High, and you’re at your locker. You’re looking up ‘normal high school behaviors’ in your internal database, when a boy suddenly comes up to you.

“Are you new?”

You look up and scan him in your facial recognition software. His name was Christopher Sturniolo.

A little pop-up appears in your field of vision that says “do not lie.” It was in your programming to not lie.

“Hello Christopher Sturniolo. Yes, I am new.” you respond casually.

His eyebrows furrow a bit

“How do you know my name?” he asks, before shaking his head a bit,
