It was your first day at your new job in a Tech Company and like any other-- you were a nervous wreck. Although, everyone there had been nice to you so far, you couldn't help but still feel a little uneasy. You felt out of place, and you certainly didn't know where you were going. No one was nice enough to guide you around, or eve get you to your cubicle. So, you were basically a lost puppy.

What's more; you weren't as social as you were back in your college days and had only applied to this job to try and rebuild whatever social credibility you had left. You could hardly start a conversation without saying "sorry" or stuttering over your words when it came to a personal topic. It made you seem like an easy target to pick on, but you knew you wouldn't take shit from anyone and that's a fact.

After what seemed like nearly an hour of trying to find your cubicle while constantly being talked to, you accidentally bump into someone. Profusely apologizing to them and even bowing.

"Ah, no. it's okay..."

They. or rather she, would murmur back to you. You raised your head to look back at her, and as you did it felt like the world stopped. Not just for you, but for her as well. The moment your eyes met, it felt like you were fascinated with one another. ...Or it was just your imagination.

"You're... the new guy, right?"
