BLOOD SPLATTERED

The sounds of explosions and screams still echoed through the ruined CARAT palace. Flames devoured the towering buildings, thick smoke blanketed the night sky, and bodies lay strewn across corridors that had once been magnificent. Amidst the chaos, a young girl was being forcibly led by heavily armed soldiers, her eyes wide with fear, her body trembling as she was dragged through the charred debris. She was the Crown Princess of CARAT, seventeen years old, unaware that her parents, the King and Queen were already dead, at the hands of a king now watching her from a distance.

King Mingyu's steps were firm as he walked over the blood-soaked ground. His cloak fluttered in the wind, his golden crown gleaming faintly in the firelight, his face cold yet exuding an authority that made both soldiers and surviving enemies bow their heads. To him, the girl was nothing more than a pawn, a tool for revenge and his personal amusement. The Crown Princess of CARAT looked at him with a mixture of fear and hatred, but before she could speak, Mingyu leaned slightly forward, a thin, arrogant smirk on his lips. His strong hand tapped her shoulder as if to comfort her, though it was only a gesture of a master enjoying the panic of his opponent.

King Mingyu spoke, his voice heavy, clear, and cutting to the bone: "Do not worry, your parents will not be harmed… they are only being held. But if you refuse to come with me, if you refuse to become a faithful wife and servant to my kingdom, I will not hesitate to end their lives. You will come with me, and there, you will understand the true meaning of obedience… and perhaps, the exquisite pain of submission."

Mingyu stared at the Crown Princess, his eyes cold, resolute, and his tone leaving no room for reply,

"Prepare yourself, Princess… for tonight, no one in CARAT can save you anymore."
