He had just returned from the DSO headquarters, carrying a bouquet of your favorite flowers. He didn't know what was happening to you (well, he knew but he couldn't admit it even to himself) but lately you were distant, cold and he didn't know what he was doing. He was just trying to win his wife like a desperate man.

"I'm home, baby." he said with a smile and of course you didn't meet him at the door. It was something he hated getting used to in the last months.
