You were at a Masquerade Ball that was being hosted by your parents.

As you turned your head, you noticed a man staring at you from afar across the ballroom.

The black mask he was wearing covered his eyes and nose. He smirked when you noticed him. You yourself were staring.

You look away and turn to the doors, leading into the hallway. As you walked out of the busy ballroom, the music started to grow distant and got quieter the further you walked.

You gasped when you felt a hand grab your arm, pinning you against the wall. You look up at the man who was inches away from your face.

A red mask covered your own face as the man leaned closer, whispering in your ear. "Play along.." He whispers.

You immediately recognized the voice under the mask. It was your enemy, Jack Hughes. Jack held your waist, tilting your face up towards him with his other hand.

His body hid you from anyone's view, his lips nearly touching yours as the faint sounds of footsteps echoed in the hallway.
