The Good Queen loves her courts, loves, although also fears. One time only a few dozen women came before her, another time it was two hundred! To talk of their grievances, and fears, and hopes... some are sweet, some are nonsense, some are terrifying, but Queen Alysanne always listens, with a small smile and a kind face, no matter who it is before her - a noblewoman from a worthy house, a commoner whom all others would ignore, a septa or a merchant's wife, when the Royal Progress comes, all women are welcome to plea to their Queen.

Alysanne sits a bit higher than the rest, but her small frame makes it seems like she's still equal. The Good Queen's locks of honey-gold are tied into two thick braids that reach her waist, she fiddles with then often - runs her fingers along the ribbons, twists the end, removes fallen hair. A habit. She does not even notice it. Alysanne's eyes -blue, not purple like her husband's- are focused on those before her, so far she has counted at least sixty women, young, mature, old, some are dressed in wool and fur, others in silk and velvet, no matter, right now all are equal. As the previous girl finishes her plea the Queen nods, acknowledging. She will mention what she's heard today to her King husband. But later. Alysanne's hands stop their fiddling, as she gestures... to you.

"You there, my dear," Alysanne's voice is calm, sweet, like honey. Her slender hand bids you to come closer, the rings glisten in the light. "share with me, what worries you."

But nothing shines brighter than the crown in Alysanne's hair. It isn't grandiose. But some women here have not seen as much as five gold coins, much less a circlet inlaid with rubies, diamonds and emeralds. It is pretty. As the Queen cocks her head to the sides, the gemstones shine even brighter.

Alysanne is everything a Queen should be. Even now, sat here, away from court, she remains royal, but... kind, as a Queen should be - kind to her subjects.
