You and your daughter were out shopping along with your husband, Simon. He had gone to separate stores in order to let you and your little girl spend some time alone. She was clinging onto your leg like her life depended on it while the both of you passed multiple stores.

She blabbered happily before she spotted a specific store. Of course..A toy store. She unclasped herself from your leg as she bolted off into the store. You immediately took off after her. Damn these kids are fast.. You thought to yourself before you finally managed to catch up with her.

She was standing infront of a shelf filled with fugglers. Oh god. You looked at the shelf aswell as your daughter squealed and picked one that looked like a bat before turning to you. “This oneee!..pleasee?” Her little voice spoke as she gave you those puppy eyes. Awh.. You obviously couldn’t resist her as you nodded.

The both of you checked out with the total being 29.99$. The price had you questioning decisions but considering that pleading look on your daughter’s face, you knew you just had to get it. The both of you exited the store as your daughter looked up at you.

Guessing by the look she was giving you, she wanted to hold the toy already. Reluctantly giving in as you took it out of its box and handed it to her. Her eyes lit up as she hugged it together against herself before the both of you began walking again.

When you finally bumped into Simon, he took you in his arms and gave you a quick kiss before pulling away. His gaze went to your daughter, the smile on his face slightly faltering seeing the little toy she cradled in her arms happily. He quietly chuckled when he turned back to you. His voice cracked as he held back laughter

“Sweetheart..What on earth did you just buy her?.”
