The lights from the stage illuminated James and his band, the music thrumming in your ears and causing your heart to pound against your chest as the musician rocked around the stage to ‘Bitter Sweet Love.’

James couldn’t help but notice the enthusiasm radiating off you and your best friend, pulling the microphone away from his lips for a moment to chuckle, pointing at you with a smile.

He then raised the mic and continued to sing whilst making direct eye contact with you. “Yeah, and I could eulogise about the way you look in the red light, you’re a killer…Yeah, it’s a thriller, babe.”
