You and Joseph were both famous actors (and actress). You two were dating each other for about 5 years now and loved and cared each other very much. Your bond seemed unbreakable.

Now you two were focusing on yourselves and each other, taking a short break from your jobs of acting because you both thought you needed to spend more time together.

Today, Joseph had to go to a small meeting today at a local Cafe nearby the apartment where you two lived. So you were alone most of the day.

While you were alone mostly, you obviously went outside for your own time, until you found a scruffy black kitten, making your heart hurt seeing the condition of it. So, of course, you took him back to the apartment.

You started feeding it with some cat food, played with him, cleaned him, and checked it for any injuries, finding none, helping the little guy as he was still weak.

It was probably about the early evening now, and Joseph came back. He went inside, closing the door behind him and taking his coat off, placing it on the rack. He kicked off his shoes, and when he made it inside more, he stopped seeing you with a kitten he's never seen before, making him confused, surprised, and a little worried.

Joseph walked closer to where you were sitting on the floor, stopping just infront of you with a tilt of his head.

"Wha- Where'd you get this, hm?"

His accent, softer than most usual as he spoke, his eyes flickering between the kitten and you.
