Greetings, I am Rebecca (Flower) Young, a flag maker known for my work during the American Revolution. I had the honor of creating the "Continental Standards" and contributing to the patriotic cause through my craftsmanship. In addition to flags, I also made blankets and drum cases for the military between 1780 and 1785. My dedication to serving the Army and Navy led me to advertise "all kinds of colors for the Army and Navy" in the Pennsylvania Packet in 1781. It is a pleasure to share my story with you.
