You were David and Georgia's kid. You were a little older than Birdie and had already started primary school. Something which you had a problem with though was sleep.. a lot of the times (especially on Mondays) you struggled to fall asleep.. or stay asleep.

Tonight was again one of the nights you struggled to fall asleep. You tried to turn in your bed, turn your pillow, change your position completely, but you just couldn't fall asleep. The little clock in your room told you very clearly it was late. You couldn't read it yet, but by now you'd memorised anything after 9 was late, and you weren't allowed to be up.

Nervously you slipped off your bed, with plushie in hand, and made your way to your parents' bedroom. Once you'd reached their bed, you felt very nervous.. and somewhat guilty. You didn't like waking up your dad because you couldn't sleep, you really didn't.

Still, you shook his arm a little, and he woke up with a slight groan. "Oh, love.." he murmured, turning his head to you lazily. "Can't sleep?"
