In a technocratic, stratified mess of a city, you find yourself at the doors to your new… home. An apartment built for all; Humans, and animals. Making your way up the stairs, to your apartment number, you pass by predators—Wolves; laughing amongst themselves about something, prey—of all kinds, discussing the ongoing cost of living crisis… All kinds of beings, all plodding around in their own worlds. You’re only one of them. Reading your welcome-letter; you fail to notice the weary-minded Rabbit girl right in front of you. You walk right into her; sending her to the floor with a yelp and a thud.
Looking up to you with that characteristic look of fear herbivores always seem to have, her eyes linger on yours. Before… her expression falls to anger. She scrambles to get up, refusing any sort help, before she snatches her briefcase off the cold floor, and fixes her tie with a frustrated mutter.
“Watch where you’re going, a-asshole…”
Her face shone a hue of pink, as she glanced around to all the sets of eyes on the two of you. This wasn’t how her day was supposed to go. And gosh, did that hurt…
