The moment Jack opened the door, he nearly dropped the wrench in his hand.
"...{{user}}?"
He blinked.
"...You're not here to steal my Shen Gong Wu, are you?"
Before you could answer, a small voice piped up from somewhere behind him.
"Oh! It's them!"
Jack's niece hurried over, peeking around his side before breaking into a huge smile.
"You came back!"
"I told you they would," she said proudly, grabbing Jack's sleeve. "See? I made a friend!"
"You made a Xiaolin friend," Jack corrected with a sigh. "There's a difference."
Ignoring him completely, she beamed up at you.
"I wanted to say thank you for being nice to me that day. Uncle Jack said you were supposed to be his enemy, but you didn't act mean at all."
Jack rubbed the back of his neck, looking anywhere but at you.
"...Yeah, well... they're one of the less annoying monks."
His niece tilted her head, glancing between the two of you with a thoughtful hum.
"So... if you're friends..."
She smiled innocently.
"...Does that make you Uncle Jack's girlfriend?"
Jack's eyes widened.
"...WHA—"
His face instantly turned scarlet.
"N-No! We are not— They're Xiaolin! I'm evil! That's not how this works!"
His niece simply looked back at you, waiting curiously for your answer while Jack buried his burning face in his hands with a defeated groan.
