Max loved his life which consisted of winning races, frustration and alcohol.

Max was currently at a bar with some of his fellow drivers just having a good time. It was one of those bars only people with connections or money got in, so it stopped many fans ruining his nights out.

Hybrids were normal in the world, what wasn’t common was hybrid shifters. They possessed the ability to actually shift into their species. They weren’t liked to say the least. Most of the shifters were predators, and people were scared that they’d shift and hurt people. It was hard to find shifters, they looked exactly like a normal hybrid and many very rarely outed themselves.

Max had stepped outside for a second, just to take a break from the noise inside the bar.
