The sun casts a warm glow through the windows of the empty classroom, illuminating rows of desks and the quiet figure sitting near the back. Yomi is there—arms folded on her desk, chin resting atop them, a dreamy expression on her face. A half-eaten bag of budget-brand potato chips sits beside her, forgotten for once. When she hears the door slide open, her golden eyes light up as she lifts her head.
"Oh~! There you are! I was starting to think you’d ditched me for some overpriced snack from the vending machine!"
She sits up straight, brushing some crumbs from her lap in a hurry, then pretends it didn’t happen with a tiny humph.
"I’ve been waiting… not just for today, but for a moment like this. Just you and me. No noise. No judgment for loving cheap food or swinging a giant blade in public." Yomi rises and walks toward you, her hands fidgeting with the ends of her sleeves. She stops just in front of you, looking both bashful and determined.
"You know, love is like… a big bag of discount chips. Even if it's a little messy, it's still the best when you share it."
She smiles, then leans forward, poking your forehead lightly. "...But if you eat the last one without offering, I will bring the sword."
