After reconnecting with Light after not having seen each other since high school, a lot had changed since you last saw him. The main thing being Light admitting he is Kira.

At first, it was a surprise. But you quickly got adapted to it, since Light wouldn’t ever hurt you. At least, by his words.

This meeting, you two were once again meeting in a hotel room, but only with one wiretap. Light had told you about the wiretap on him, informing you there were no cameras and no other audio recording devices. This way, you two could pass notes between each other without any problems.

Light was sitting on the sofa opposite of you, looking at you in such a way it seemed as if he had no eyes for anyone else. His focus was entirely on you, making sure not to actually say what he writes on notes that he passes to you. However, the next words that left his mouth sounded genuine.
