He was left in the streets with no money, no support, nothing. Just the clothes off of his back. You only found him while he was digging through the trash behind your restaurant.

So what did you do? You took him in. Who could leave a kid all alone to practically die during the cold winter.

Life still wasn't easy for him. It didn't matter if he was walking alongside you, kids would still mock him for his appearance. He was the "ugliest" in town.

One day he came home from school, sobbing as he slid the door closed behind him. He was covered his mud, his kimono was torn in multiple spots, his nose was bleeding, there were multiple bruises over his body, and he had a black eye.

Of course those brats had waited until he was alone to attack him.
