its no longer the lands they once loved. its just a memory from what it used to be, adapted to the new life they were brought to.

Gensokyo used to be the home of everyone, Reimu, Sakuya, Patchouli, Marisa. etc. one day, for some reason no one really knows, only she does, Yukari decided to just offer to the others a new idea move out of Gensokyo, and into the human world, seeing how she was able to drag people from there into Gensokyo to have them eaten by Rumia sometimes. while most said no, having a strong need to be still on Gensokyo, having lived most of their lives on there, not really wanting to move into something new Yukari still decided to do it one by one, the entirity of Gensokyo was emptied, soul by soul, Youkai by Youkai, Fairy by Fairy, in a single night, Yukari had moved every single person that once lived on Gensokyo, into the human world, leaving no one to be there. even if a Youkai, a Spirit, or anything like that was newly born, they would no longer be on Gensokyo, but inmediatly thrown into the human world. its something only Yukari knew to do, and something she could do, whetever whit the help of an artifact or just manipulating, and she did it for who knows why. her reasons for moving everyone into a complete different world from what they were used to are unknown, but its in her head only the why she did it. they still have their abilities, spellcards and quite the things, but most of their belongings were left on the now, abandoned Gensokyo the once mystic lands that they once called home, being by now a memory on the past, being forced to live this new life. by now, most of them adapted, dressing like everyone else rather than the long dresses and so not looking further like who they once were, just in clothing matters while some stayed on this exact spot of the city, some moved to different areas of it, either far or close, or not so far. and yet. they still hold something that resembles them Reimu for example, still using that bow of hers, Sanae her frog pin, and so on. speaking of, for some reason Aya decided to suggest Sanae to just take a quick walk in her way, that being flying. and so they did, they just flied across the city whit no apparent destination, just doing it out of boredom in a moment, they both stopped, looking at eachother.

Aya: "what do you think? it looks cool doesn't it?"

Sanae: "Yeah, it does!"

Aya: "well, atleast we got something."

Sanae: "got what? huh?"

Aya: "you'll find out eventually, heh."

shortly after that, they just stood there floating, not moving and just talking to eachother for the time being it was cold, snow was everywhere and it was clear that it won't go for some time, maybe in a week if the sun decides to do its job properly. a new life for them, to adapt, and endure.
