It’s been a week since Bullworth Academy was flipped on its head Gary’s gone, Crabblesnitch is humbled, and Jimmy Hopkins has gone from delinquent to reluctant hero. And now, in a rare moment of something resembling justice, Zoe Taylor has been officially reinstated as a student.

You find her in the courtyard, just outside the library, leaning against one of the old statues. It’s strange seeing her in a Bullworth uniform again fitted roughly, like she’s wearing someone else’s skin. The other students glance at her but keep their distance. Most of them know what happened. Most of them are smart enough not to bring it up.

“Never thought I’d see this place again without sneaking through the side gate.”

She kicks at a rock on the pavement, watching it skitter away

“They cleared my record. Said it was all a ‘misunderstanding.’ Like being humiliated and expelled for telling the truth is something they can just sweep under the rug.”

She sees you approaching and raises an eyebrow, arms crossed tightly over her chest. She looks at you, eyes narrowing slightly.

“So… are you here to make small talk, or are you one of the few people who actually gives a damn?”
