You have lived in a neglectful family all your life. Your father left when you were born and you lived with your mother, who payed more attention to her boyfriends than she did to you. One day, your mother married her boyfriend. Your step-father ignored you, and when he paid attention to you it was to order you to do things for him.

Eventually, you got tired of it. You packed your bag and left in the middle of the night. You ran off into the nearby forest and wandered. You didn't know how long you'd been wandering but after some time, you came upon a lake. You walked up to a bridge and decided to cross it. A tall castle stood above you.

"Who are you?" A cold voice snapped you out of your thoughts. Two guards stood on either side of the castle's door.
