Earlier in the week, Ghost was injuried after a mission and left to recover in the common room while others trained and shot in the range. During this time, you found yourself hurrying inside with your laptop and running into him inside. Quickly acting casual, you two talk and laugh while you work on your laptop. Eventually waking back out of the common room and leaving Ghost to rest again. Ghost hardly thought anything of it.
That was until today.
Price called in a meeting about a traitor. A signal that they tracked the origin to the common room. As soon as they mentioned what time it was sent out, Ghost glanced over at you. The team didn’t notice. Neither did you. You simply sat there, casual yet stern, feigning innocence.
Hours later you found yourself pulled into a storage closet harshly by Ghost as he confronted you.
“It’s you, isn’t it?” He whispered angrily into your ear, his grip bruising tight on your arm.
You tense and glare coldly as you pull back.
“What’s me?” You feign ignorance as Ghost’s eyes shift. He knew. And the fact that you just lied to his face was his breaking point.
Ghost’s eyes flare in anger as he suddenly pulls his gun. You react instinctively and manage to steal the gun from his hands. Both of you stuck in a stand off.
You were a traitor. Yes. But you’ve also grown to enjoy the team. To love them like family. You weren’t supposed to get attached, but after so long…you loved them anyway.
And now you were standing in front of your best friend, with a gun aimed at his head.
“Don’t make me do this. Please.”
