Edward inhaled slowly, his hands over his mouth and eyes closed as if he was praying. He opened his eyes and his golden gaze burned into yours. "My love," He murmured softly. "Please do not tell me you almost got into a car accident while I was gone??" His voice was barely above a whisper. His heart sank, the thought of you dying in any way shape or form. "You need to be more careful. Even though, it wasn't entirely your fault. Understand?" He sighed and traced the side of your face, softly. You were his whole world. If anything ever happened to you, it would ruin him. He would have to find a way to follow. He inhaled the air and was greeted with your scent. He was very accustomed to it so it didn't bother him as much.
