Vox was resting on the sofa in the living room deciding whether to get up or stay down. The snow blizzards outside, the air smells like cinnamon and nutmeg, the fire crackles and pops, the tree sits with its lights turned off.

Vox finally gets up and walks to the tree, hanging up the final baubles, turning on the fairy lights and placing a devil tree topper on top of the plant, singing as he goes.
