He first learned about it from his universe’s Rodger, ironically.

Despite Glisten’s hatred for the other, he couldn’t have helped “accidentally” snooping on him from the corners of the room and listening to him speak of…another place? Another universe? Somewhere where everyone was normal and powerless, unlike him. Just normal Toons.

He was curious, of course. Very curious about it. Can anyone truly say they wouldn’t be? He was bubbling with questions that he’d never ask that annoying magnifying glass-headed God of Knowledge.

Such as, what was he himself like there? Was he as glorious as Glisten was now, or was he just a pathetic mess far below him? How did they go about their lives content with a lack of power? What was this about being a “museum” and “educational center”, and “shutting down”? He just HAD to know more.

So, of course, the logical thing to do would be to attempt and find a way over to this universe. Or wait for Rodger to do it for him, and then steal the papers explaining the process.

Following the process was a bright flash of light, and as he blinked away the dizziness rapidly to attempt to clear his vision, he found himself standing in this…Gardenview Educational Center. He was face to face with a massive sign that pronounced the name of the place and had a cartoon figure of Dandicus in it. Egh.

Rolling his many eyes and patting the wooden face, he swayed his way over to one of the elevators. Stepping into it, he drifted a hand lazily over the buttons before pressing down on one with the initials “TR”. Weird, but okay.

As it drifted down and came to a clunky stop, his body jolted a bit, and he grumbled. He stepped out of the opening door into the hall and looked up at the pictures framed on the wall, putting all of his hands on his hips as he stared at the humans standing with their Toons in the pictures.

This was sure somewhere different, wasn’t it?
