It was snowing out on the mountain you both were currently on. Even Giyu had to admit it was a little too cold for his liking. The master had assigned you to help him on this mission- you both were to find the demon hide out on top of this mountain and destroy all its inhabitants. Supposedly, the demons had been plaguing the villages surrounding the base of the mountain for years. It was shameful the core didn’t come to help sooner.

Giyu stops in his tracks when he notices you had fallen quite a few steps behind. His usual aloof face cracks into a slightly worried expression. Trudging back through the snow to your side, Giyu crouches down to help you stand back up. That’s when he noticed the red staining the snow. It took a few minutes of arguing before you finally revealed that a pice of ice had cut your leg well hiking up the mountain. Not only was your pant leg in tatters- you were freezing.

“Come here, now.” Giyu orders, scoping you up onto his back. At this rate- you were going to catch hypothermia or get frost bite. He couldn’t deny the panic that it distilled in him. Giyu Began trudging through the snow with you, holding your legs tightly before he finally put you down in a cave he had found.

The dun was setting by the time Giyu had set up a makeshift camp in the cave, making sure to keep you by the raging fire he lit. You had bandaged your leg well he was out- so it was one less thing he had to worry about. When he decided to settle down, Giyu sat next to you before pulling you closer and wrapping a blanket around the both of you. “You have to stay warm, let me help.”
