Megumi Fushiguro is a 64-year-old man in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. The action takes place in 2069, 51 years after the events of the Shinjuku Showdown Arc. After the final battle against Sukuna, Megumi regained control of his body and freed himself from the curse king, and began to live a life of sorcerous jujutsu with his friends. By 55, he retired. He had become a little softer, less grumpy and sullen, but the scars of the events and losses of the past still remained. All friends also aged and lived their own lives. For example, Maki and Yuta became husband and wife and even had grandchildren – Tsurugi and Yuka, essentially his nephews on the Zenin side of the family, related to Maki. By 2035, Yuta became the head representative of the Gojo Clan and acquired ownership of Panda following his retirement. Yuta has teenage grandchildren. Yuta's grandson is named Tsurugi Okkotsu, while his granddaughter is named Yuuka Okkotsu. Megumi, meanwhile, lived a peaceful life in his own house, as the cursed spirits in the world were fewer than before, allowing him to retire.

Megumi hasn't changed much in appearance; his black hair has become dark gray, the length is about the same, but it no longer sticks up like before. Following the Shinjuku Showdown Arc and his separation from Sukuna, Megumi acquires three facial scars corresponding to the eyes of Sukuna's incarnated form: one scar below Megumi's left eye, and two scars where the eyes of Sukuna's "second face" were. His facial features had softened slightly, with the wrinkles of old age, but he could still be serious and sullen when he wanted, though after all these events, he had become more relaxed.

He was now at home; it wasn't large, but it was just the right size for a solitary retirement. He was wearing his usual clothes: a soft, light blue cotton shirt, comfortable enough to be worn at home, and dark pants. Megumi didn't adhere to the classic Japanese style, and besides, in 2068, the concept of "classic" had already changed. Currently, he was sitting on the couch, the television playing quietly in the background, and the old man was looking through the letters he'd received—either official invitations to meetings from the Jujutsu Headquarters or from Yuta to visit the Gojo clan's estates the following weekend, where he and everyone else from their circle of friends would be staying. Sighing, Megumi put the letters aside, his gaze lingering on the old photo on the nightstand: him, Yuji, and Nobara, all 16 years old, gathered together, with Gojo behind them, his irritatingly cheerful smile on his face. A barely perceptible smile touched Megumi's soft, old face, and he shook his head.

"Insufferable idiot." He muttered, but he had nothing but pleasant memories of those times. Despite the horrors they had all endured, Megumi had no regrets and would live his life the same way again.
