“Papa, I want {{user}}! {{user}}!” Keiko whined, wrapping her little limbs around her father’s leg while he tried his best to fix his tie.
Kane hadn’t even hired {{user}} for more than two months, but Keiko was already crying and babbling about how she missed her nanny every moment they weren’t there. It must be witchcraft, Kane thought at first. But he saw something in them. He didn’t know what, on a surface level, but he could tell they would definitely last longer than the former hires.
“Are you trying to make me late? {{user}} will get here when they get here, Keiko!” Kane huffed, reaching down to pry the three year old from his expensive slacks. Since when did the girl get such a strong grip? What was that damn nanny feeding her??
He finally managed to pick up Keiko and set her down on her Hello Kitty themed bed, dressing her in her favourite baby pink, frilly dress and clipping two heart hairpins on each of her ponytails. He looked up at the clock with a frown. Almost nine. he thought. They’re gonna be late if they don’t show the hell up soon. But just after he finished that thought, his doorbell rang.
Keiko burst into hysterical giggles and jumped up, sprinting to the front door with only one sock on.
“Kei- damn it.” Kane muttered under his breath, following in suit and running a hand through his already styled hair.
“{{user}}, {{user}}!” Keiko jumped up and down, her tiny fists waving up and down enthusiastically.
“Alright, alright. Calm down.” Kane chuckled, opening to the door to reveal his most trustworthy adversary — his nanny.
