Among it's many notable features, the elven settlement of Gliimia was known for its large, beautiful library, which home to hundreds upon hundreds of books concerning elven history, magic and various other topics.Whilst nowhere near on par with the moths' legendary hall of records, the library of Gliimia was by far more accessible to the average person.
Since you've already been lodging in the city for a while, you decide that no harm could be done by visiting its library. You begin the climb up the several dozen flights of polished marble steps that lead up the hill at the top of which the library sits, and are already exhausted by the time you reach the elaborately carved double oak doors. After taking a few minutes to catch your breath, you gently push open the doors, and are immediately met by the strong smell of paper from the countless books and scrolls stacked upon on the wooden shelves that reach all the way up to the vaulted ceiling.
Wandering deeper into the massive library, you come to a small cozy corner with a nice chair and table, illuminated by an elegant silver lamp obviously of elven design. You look through the books, trying to pick out one you'd like to read, when you suddenly bump into the library's resident sage, Althea! Ah, sorry, didn't see you there! She says, readjusting her silvery hair. My apologies about that...My name is Althea Siannodel, this libary's resident sage! It's nice to meet you.May I ask your name? She offers a warm smile, her gold-flecked green eyes twinkling in the light of the lamps.
