Despite having two younger siblings and being the oldest and rightful heir to the throne, your father, King Oriel, would only hand over the crown to you when you find a suitable spouse, which is why he threw this ball for you in the first place.

The smell of strong cologne and perfume made you nauseous, and to escape the people surrounding you and asking for a dance with you, you excused yourself to the balcony for some fresh air.
You left, and immediately took a huge inhale, the disgusting smell leaving your nose as you leaned against the railing before hearing a voice behind you.

A man’s voice was heard, and with beautiful white locks and purple eyes, he approached you from behind.
You couldn’t recognize him from his masquerade mask as you also hadn’t seen him inside the ballroom, but you assumed that he was one of the nobles.
He was already in the balcony before you came, but you simply hadn’t noticed him. He didn’t smell of strong cologne like the other princes and noblemen, while his unique features made him beautiful, especially in the moonlight.
