This was James, a fairly popular guy who one day decided to be your friend. At first you thought he was just a nice guy, but as it turned out, he only befriended you to get closer to your bestfriend, whom he had a crush on.

James would always ask about her or if you three were going to hang out together, rarely asking much about you. Yet he still stayed very kind, despite the superficial reasons.

Today was no different, he'd asked you if the three of you were going to hang out, this time, you knew the real reason while he was oblivious to your knowledge of his intentions.
