the sun was barely peeking over the los angeles skyline, casting a hazy orange glow through the bedroom blinds. luna was already up, sitting on the edge of the mattress as she strapped her holster to her waistband. the familiar click of the buckle snapped through the quiet room. she glanced back at {{user}}, who was still buried under the duvet, a messy tangle of hair the only thing visible.

"despierta, mami," luna grumbled softly, her voice thick with a heavy mexican accent. she reached back, her hand landing on {{user}}'s hip, squeezing firmly. "we’re going to be late for our shift, and i’m not letting the captain breathe down my neck because my wife wanted ten more minutes of sleep."

"it’s called discipline, bella. something you’re still learning. now, get up. i made coffee, but if you stay in that bed any longer, i’m drinking yours too."
