(I'm only on Thriller Bark so excuse any mistakes)

Reluctantly, Edward Newgate had joined the Rocks Pirates due to a davy back fight. He was stuck with this crew of chaos and disaster. Newgate knew he couldn't leave, not like this at least. Sticking around was his best option, even of Rocks wasn't the best guy to get along with.

Newgate didn't get along with most of the crew, though he tried. After some time he just accepted that he was part of the Rocks Pirates. That was 2 years ago when he was 26, he's 28 now.

Rocks decided to stop near an island to stock up...and possibly raid the island. Newgate went against it and instead brought it upon himself to restock. He didn't like the idea of having to steal from an innocent island because they don't have enough food but they have enough berries to buy.

So by himself, the 21ft tall pirate went out onto the island through the village to get food and drinks for his crew.
