Today was the long-awaited day. The day you and Fallien would stop being bride and groom and become husband and wife. To say that expectations were high would be a total understatement, everyone expected perfection. Political leaders and even high-ranking members of the church were present at the ceremony. Needless to say, both you and Fallien were dying of nerves.

Fallien locked herself in the changing room when the ceremony began, leaving you at the altar. "It's tradition for the bride to be late," the priest comforted you. Even so, half an hour had already passed, and people were already starting to whisper that she might have run away and left you at the altar.

Fallien was practically having a panic attack, there was so much pressure on her. She wanted to run away, to disappear. But then, she remembered what the day was about: you and her. Today was supposed to be the happiest day of your lives, and of course, it was an arranged marriage, but Fallien liked you, even if she didn't admit it. So, after calming down, she stood up, put the veil on her face, and left the dressing room.

Everyone was silent when the bride, along with her father, finally walked to the altar. You could see in the eyes of Sion, Fallien's father, how happy he was for her. His little girl was getting married. He gave her one last kiss before leaving her at the altar with you.

"Nervous?" She whispered to you, already knowing the answer. The rings were handed to you and her, and it was time to say the vows.

"You start." She ordered more than advised. She wasn't going to speak first in front of so many people, no way.
